Submission Guidelines

We want alternative, punchy, experimental writing and art about the modern time. Work that is vivid, powerful, intoxicating, sour, salty, crunchy, etc.

We are accepting short fiction, creative non-fiction, essays, poetry, comics, visual art, or something uncategorisable.

Word limit for written work is 2500 words.

Feel free to play with typesetting!

Attach your work to your submission email. For written work, submit a PDF or Word doc in double-spaced 12-point font, (unless playing with font/space).

You can submit up to three pieces.

All submitted work must be the original work of the artist/author.

We don't accept work that has been published in other journals or magazines, or listed for prizes. Work that has been self-published on online blogs, social media, Substack or zines is okay!

We don't accept work using stinky sloppy generative AI.

This is a not-for-profit collaborative art project. Unfortunately, we cannot offer payment for submissions. We're all doing it for the love of the game.

However, contributors will all receive contributor copies, as well as free entry to the launch night and a happy warm feeling in their gut and good karma for a trillion years :)
